Brief Description: Mater; rete; 4 plates; alidade; horse; pin (not found 17/6/99). A leather case accompanies the instrument. The kursi is decorated on both sides. One of the plates is pierced with a hole on the lower left-hand side. The horse does not fit into the pin.
Primary Inscriptions: "Made by Muhammad Tahir", engraved in a cartouche below the shadow-square, "Designed by `Abd al-A'imma", engraved in another cartouche near the lower edge.
