Brief Description: Mater; rete; 5 plates; alidade; horse; pin. The kursi is decorated on both sides with verses from the Koran. Around the rim is engraved a Shiite invocation. One of the plates is marked with a tablet of horizons.
Primary Inscriptions: "Decorated by Muhammad Mahdi al-khadim al-Yazdi", below the shadow-square. Other inscriptions on the kursi and around the rim (see notes below).
