Brief Description: | Two iron bar magnets, each one in a brass mounting. The bars were originally hinged together at one end, but the hinge is broken. One of the poles is marked "Nord". |
Primary Inscriptions: | "Page's Rue du / Chantre AParis", professionally engraved across the hinge on the brass mounting. On the same face as "Chantre AParis" is engraved "NORD". On the back of the brass mounting of the other leg is stamped "RG" (? for Robert Gunther?). |
