Brief Description: Plate mater, rete for 4 stars bounded by equator rather than Tropic of Capricorn and rivetted to the alidade on the reverse. The ecliptic is represented by an arc rather than a full circle. The strong Islamic influence on this astrolabe suggest the Sicilian origin.
