Brief Description: Gearing in brass box with silvered-brass top with two large and one small dial: AM/PM, days, and months, a spindle with Jupiter and its four moons of ivory spheres, and accessories consisting of two candles and two clamps, in polished mahogany box containing brass circular fitting with signs of the zodiac, and two brass clamps.

This instrument is also known as a "Jovelabe" or "Jovilabe".
