|Brief Description:||Straight slide rule with single slider (with a brass stud at each end). The main face has a scale of 12 French inches, subdivided by 6, 3, and 1; the same scale is also graduated as units to 144, numbered by 6 (with an arrow at 42). The slide has a scale from 2-96, with a further mark for infinity. The scale (is it logarithmic?) contains fractional values, and is duplicated on the stock, with the addition of some further fractional values stamped in red. Numbers from 10 to 80 are stamped on the stock under the slide. One edge carries a scale of 32.5 cm, divided to 10, 5 and 1, and numbered by 10. The other edge and face are unmarked.|
