Brief Description: Mater; rete for ca. 26 stars; 4 plates; alidade; horse. The rete has four knobs for turning. One of the plates is marked as a tablet of horizons.
Primary Inscriptions: Unsigned and undated. An inscription on the back records that the astrolabe belonged to the Great Mosque of Tangiers.
Provenance: Presented by J. A. Billmeir. Formerly in the Henri Michel Collection, Brussels.
