Brief Description: A rectangular green card box with a removable lid. The top and side are labelled in black ink: "ENGLISH & GERMAN CAPACITATORS PRESENTED BY R.E.W. MADDISON; Mus. ref. no. 78*2." There is a paper label on one short side that reads: "'Everyman's' DOCUMENT WALLETS." The box contains:
- A black card box with a removable lid and a paper label on the top that reads: “Condenser Parts T.P. PARKES & CO. LTD 24, THAVIES INN, HOLBORN CIRCUS, E.C.” The box contains: 1 envelope with a metal folding clasp that contains many small metal fixtures; 1 wax paper envelope; 2 thin silver metal flat rods, one with a curved end; 1 long black plastic cylinder with grooves on its surface; 1 gold metal cylinder; 1 grey metal cylinder containing a yellow metal cylinder; A set of 4 brown plastic cylinders; 1 thin flat iron alloy rod with a small red metal slider; 5 brown plastic plates of varying with metal fixtures; 1 thin flat metal rod with 2 curved metal fixtures; 2 thin rectangular flat metal rods with one tapered end; 2 very flat and thin silver metal rods, one of which is bent; 3 silver metal nuts of varying sizes; 1 black plastic bolt; 1 black plastic bolt with a silver metal cap and base; 1 black plastic cylinder with silver wire protruding from each end and curving together into an oval; 2 black plastic cylinders with square apertures in one end surrounded by a copper alloy ring; 2 silver metal and black plastic discs with silver metal threads protruding from the centre; 5 small black plastic cylinders with copper alloy rings around circular apertures and a silver metal tabs attached to their bases - one of these has been split in half and one half is missing; 8 small silver metal fixtures; 1 wax paper sleeve containing 3 small black plastic cylinders with copper alloy rings around circular apertures and one of which has a silver metal tabs attached to its base; 1 brown paper envelope containing 2 rolls of transparent paper; 2 smaller brown paper envelopes each containing 2 very small rolls of transparent paper; 1 large sealed paper envelope
- A brown card box with a foldable lid that contains: 2 hollow silver metal cylinders; 24 labels that are tied to various circular fittings and metal bolts; 4 flat rolls of varying types of papers; 2 flat rolls of reflective silver paper; 1 sealed brown paper envelope
- 2 green rectangular capacitators
- 2 rectangular iron alloy capacitators with 2 prongs
- 2 rectangular brown cardboard boxes with red and black twisted wires protruding from one short end
- 4 rectangular orange and beige cardboard boxes labelled: “DUBILIER CONDENSER CO (1925) LTD.; DRY ELECTROLYTIC CONDENSER; DUCON WORKS, VICTORIA ROAD, NORTH ACTON, LONDON. W. 3.”
- 1 wide rectangular green and orange checked cardboard box labelled: “T.C.C. Condenser in the Green Case; ‘Green for Safety’; The result of 22 years experience in condenser manufacture.”
- 2 beige rectangular cardboard boxes containing capacitators
