Brief Description: Wooden box covered with brown textile and hinged lid. Interior has four main compartments and is lined with green paper. The central compartment contained five smaller trays. Padded with cotton. Pinkish ribbon attached to either side of lid.

Containing the listed items:

(1) Glass Geissler tube with candle-shaped ends and spout in the middle sealed with a black plastic cap. Internal glass structure with three spheres which are slightly yellowed. Appears to be empty.

(2) Glass Geissler tube with candle-shaped ends and a spout in the middle sealed with a cork and a small tube at one end capped with a green plastic cap. Spiral glass internal structure. Contains transparent peach coloured liquid. Metal implements in either end creating tiny hoops. Sticker in spout.

(3) Glass Geissler tube with candle-shaped ends with metal loop caps on the ends and a glass point protruding from one end. Sticker in side: "Clarendon Building 1948". Unidentified internal structure at either end. Glass spiral internal structure: slightly yellowed at one end. Appears to be empty.

(4) Glass Geissler tube with rounded ends, with little metal loops, and a central spout sealed with black plastic. Two internal metal rods extending from either end. Contains unidentified greyish powder.

(5) Metal rod with looped end. Red cork near loop end and rectangle of metal foil attached to the other end.

(6) Metal rod with looped end. Red cork near loop end and rectangle of metal foil attached to the other end.

(7) Glass Geissler tube with candle-shaped ends and an oval bulge in the middle. A spout coming out of the bulge with a green plastic seal. Paper sticker around the outside of the spout. Two interior metal rods: one extending from each end. Appears empty.

(8) Glass Geissler tube with candle-shaped ends and an oval bulge in the middle. A spout coming out of the bulge with a black plastic seal. Two interior metal rods: one extending from each end. Appears empty.

(9) Glass Geissler tube with candle-shaped ends and a spout in the middle sealed with a cork and unidentified white fibrous material and a smaller spout coming off one end with a black plastic seal. Internal glass spiral structure and two internal metal rods: one at each end. Appears empty.

(10) Glass tube with two sharp bends. One rounded end. The other end is sealed with a metal fitting, part of which is painted red. Narrow inner tube structure containing a silver material (possibly mercury).

(11) Small glass tube with rounded ends. Appears to contain a clear solidified liquid with an air bubble and three solid black accretions.

(12) Small glass tube with rounded ends (shorter than 11). Appears to have another tube within it. Contains a black accretion at one end and yellow residue at the other.

(13) Metal paperclip with blue and white string attaching a paper label reading: "ANC". Two brass rings.
