Brief Description: Gelatine print. Portrait of Washington Teasdale, seated half length, turned to right, head in profile and bowed as if reading, though the book he holds in his left hand is closed; wearing a hat. Matt, strong black and white, slight silver tarnishing. Vertical format. Heavy paper. Probably a candid portrait or snapshot. Teasdale died in 1903.
