Brief Description: Transmitting sphygomograph. Consists of a copper alloy rectangular base plate with two turned, rounded feet. Attached to the base plate are three arms, two of which hold red, circular fabric pads. Attached to third arm is a wooden circular disc. These arms are attached to a central moving mechanism which amplifies recorded pulses. At one end of plate is a circular copper alloy tube which is tightened by a screw mechanism.
