Brief Description: A Phenakistiscope disc containing a sequence of images for animation. The disc has equally-spaced, thin radial slits and a hole at the centre for a vertical holder. When the disc is placed on its holder and rotated in front of a mirror, viewing through the slits reveals a motion image in the mirror.

On the disc, with 16 slots, is a man doing a pirouette. The disc has a modern red plastic hinge in its central hole.
