Watchcocks or Covers to Protect the Balance Wheel of Watches

Brief Description: Two watch backing plates, two watchcocks and one cog. The watch backing plates protect the back of the watch and house the inner workings, the watchcocks protect the balance wheels of the watch. The two metal and copper alloy watch backing plates both have watchcocks attached to them, the larger of the plates has the inscription 'Berthoud' as well as an attached dial, a cog and a watchcock with a floral and leaf design. The smaller of the watch backing plates has an attached dial and a watchcock with a flower and sun design. The two separate copper alloy watchcocks are oval shaped with rounded triangular shaped extensions, the larger has a leaf design with a small face with hair and ears at the base of the oval. The smaller watchcock has a leaf design with a small face with a furrowed brow at the base of the oval. The cog has a piece of metal jutting out either side and two dials one silver coloured and the other bronze coloured.
