Contains patents and related documents, 1890-1904, including original manuscript and typescript specifications (some drafts), letters, receipts, and certificates issued by the Patent Office, and in some cases actual Letters Patent with seal; they are patents originated within or owned by Elliott Brothers. Much loose material.

Contents include, among large bundle of loose papers at end (see separate entries): three blueprints.

Primary Inscriptions: Intrinsically marked: 'Sketch E78'. Intrinsically captioned: 'Inprovements [sic] in the construction of current transformers used in conjunction with instruments measuring the energy in alternate current electric circuits.'.

Drawings are horizontal format though intrinsic inscriptions are vertical format.
