Brief Description: Two (identical) metal plates with relief-printed instructions headed 'Magneto Generator for Revolution Indicators Care & Maintenance', with four corner holes for screwing to instrument case, unused. The magneto generator is the instrument that converts the rotation of an engine shaft to an electrical signal, the speed of the engine (eg a ship's engine) then being indicated on a dial.
[Found loose among the archive; most likely originated with archive 2/29/1 where there are notes re magneto generators in connection with engine speed indicators, 1911-23.]
