Brief Description: French vaporizer similar in design to a Clover vaporizer, comprising of a spherical body with a capped opening for fabric that would be soaked in ether. The top of the object has a turning handle with a scale and point that is numbered 0-8. There are two more apertures. A rebreathing bag is also present. Mounted on an elbow connector and round display stand. In fitted case with accessories.

Invented in 1908 by Louis Ombredanne (1871-1956).
Provenance: Transferred from the Nuffield Department of Anaesthetics, John Radcliffe Hospital.
