Brief Description: Medal, third prize for surgery, awarded to Joseph Clover in 1846 by University College London, in presentation case. Depicting female figure holding a scroll and wreath, and a larger wreath on the
reverse. In a square leather case on hinges, with blue velvet lining. Inscribed on the lid: "SURGERY| 3RD PRIZE". There is a rectangular plastic plaque inside case inscribed: “J. T. CLOVER 1846| UNIV. COLL. LOND.
SURGICAL MEDAL”.
