Brief Description: Consisting of four concave copper alloy blades; offset to one side, in various sizes and a solid reeded copper alloy handle for batteries, with a screw cap at the bottom; including a lever to one side and a protruding hook-like section. There is also a lightbulb in an L-shaped metal casing.

Invented by R G Macbeth and F B Bannister in 1944.
