History of Praxinoscope
Praxinoscope was invented in 1876 and patented in 1877 by Ã?mile Reynaud (1844-1918); it removes some defects of the zoetrope, as the distortion and loss of brightness of the subjects. In 1878, Praxinoscope got a 'mention honorable' in the Exposition Universelle in Paris, becoming a great commercial success.
