Wood, tortoiseshell, silver, etc.; the hour-lines, etc. are drawn in ink and water-colour on paper. Signed, "Christophorus [? a L]ignamine Doctor. Physycus. Sybill[e] filius major ROMAE FECIT 1799".

This dial is constructed for latitude 43°.

The design pressed on the lid of the box shows a man sitting and a woman reclining under a tree; the man is writing on the trunk of the tree, and has already written the word, "Angelica[? or -us]".
