Instruments for the pocket

The smallest cases of drawing instruments might contain only a ruler and a single drawing instrument. [1] has a pair of dividers with a removable point so that a drawing pen can be inserted. A ruler is engraved on the case of [2], which has separate compartments for ink and pens. A more complete portable set uses swivel points to combine pen, pencil and divider points in a single pair of compasses [3].
