Image Ordering Service
To order images from the Museum, please fill in the online order form. Prices for use of images are detailed below.
Duplicates of all the images in the image library can be ordered from the Museum. Where the originals are colour transparencies they are duplicated by conventional photographic means. Black and white photographs from negatives are supplied as prints from stock or newly printed. Scans from slides and prints and original digital images are available by download, email and on CD. Colour prints (high photographic quality inkjet) are available in A4 size.
Note that the images displayed in the online collection are usually both highly compressed and auto adjusted for levels on an undifferentiated basis, so the resulting quality as viewed on screen may not reflect that of the original.
As well as providing stock images from the image library, the Museum also carries out bespoke photography to order.
All photographic orders are carried out on a pro forma basis. Payment for photographs is possible by credit card.

Digital images (from stock): £15.00 (£5.00 for each additional image)
Studio digital photography: £100 per object
Media cost: £2 per CD-ROM
Colour prints (Inkjet): £20.00
