88. Gaumont's 'Block-Notes' Camera, 1902

Strutt-type, folding camera for plates 45 x 60 mm. Fixed focus f9 anastigmat triplet lens 75 mm focal length. The shutter is cocked by pulling out the front plate which puts the optical frame viewfinder in position. This was one of the first cameras to open the way for the new 'vest-pocket' picture format.
