Signed: 'ELECTRO / BEWI / MADE IN GERMANY'.
In this type of meter the light is measured in terms of the current generated when it falls on to a photoelectric cell, thus it is a micro-ammeter specially calibrated for photographic use. Photoelectric meters were first introduced in the early 1930s. The best known is the Weston Master range of exposure meters.
