The rete is of the foliate (plain) type. The rete is broken just above center within the ecliptic. Note that the eclipitic is poorly and variably divided, at times divided by ecliptic and at time by equatorial coordinates..The zodiac on the rete is labelled: الحمل , الثور , الجوزا , السرطان , الاسد , السنبله , الميزان , العقرب , القوس , الجدي , الدلو , الحوت
