Throne

The throne is of the five-lobed type . The throne is attached with a integrated base. The front of this simple throne bears an inscription that was probably used to orient the tympans in the womb. The back of the throne has two roughly scratched arrows indicating the top. The ring and shackle are missing. Markings:

Mater

The mater and limb are of three pieces construction. The front (astrolabe) limb, which is riveted to the womb plate and the back (equatorium) limb. Scales on the limb:

Mater

Womb


The front (astrolabe) womb shows some faint circles as well as a set of lines dividing the womb into quadrants. It is possible that the maker intended to engrave a set of tables or some other projection into the womb.
