Throne

The throne is of the three-lobed type . The throne is attached with a soldered base. Simple throne, with lightly engraved circles on each of the lobes.

Ring

The ring is of the simple, round cross-section type (i.e. simple plain ring made from a round rod or piece of metal).

Shackle

Shackle of the rotating pin type (i.e. pin with a 'ball-joint' on the end). The pin attaches to a simple bracket that, in turn, attaches to the throne..

Mater

The mater and limb are of three pieces construction. This limb is cast and sandwiched between a front and back plates. The scales on the front of the limb are in fact on the front plate that has been cut to the width of the underlying cast piece. The three pieces have been riveted together.. Scales on the limb:
