The calendar is of the Western type. Every fifth day and the end of the month. Note that December has 31 1/4 days as do a number of other instruments in this collection..The vernal equinox falls on the 10th day of March. [N.B: Date is decimal as date of vernal equinox on some astrolabes can be measured to within 0.25 of a day]
