Throne, Ring and Shackle

The throne is of the simple type made of gilt brass attached with integrated base made of brass and has a simple, round cross-section ring made of gilt brass and rotating pin type shackle made of gilt brass . More information

Mater

The mater and limb are of one-piece construction. The notch that accepts the tab to keep the tympan from rotating is located at the throne.. Scales on the limb: equal hours scale; degree scale. More information

Rete, Pin & Wedge

The rete contains 34 stars. The zodiac on the rete is labelled: ARIES , TAVR9 , GEM , CAN , LEO , VIRGO , LIBRA , SCORPI9 , SAGITTARI9 , CAPRICORN9 , AQVARI9 , PISCES .
The rete is attached using a pin & wedge. Both the pin and the wedge have decorated heads but are otherwise plain.. More information
